Dear Friend,

I am writing you today because I am really concerned about our friendship.

In your 1st period class, when you finally closed your book, I was really hoping you would, but you didn't even spare me a look.

As you were walking in the hall, I saw you trip and fall. I always help you up, but today you didn't ask at all.

In homeroom today, you seemed to pass me by. You didn't even talk to me. I wanted to ask why.

Oh, and I must admit, in 3rd, you acted as if you hadn't heard a word. The other students were talking me down. You just sat there like you didn't care.

When the 4th period passed, I just let out a sigh. You had plenty of time, but as for talking to me, you didn't even try.

I was sure about it this time! Before you eat everyday we always have a word or two, but you pushed me to the side. With you were some new "friends", and with me they wouldn't abide.

During the last period, I was very excited! I saw you turn around when the students started to mock--but wait, you were just looking at the clock.

I really hope that tomorrow is different from today. But no matter what you do, no matter what you say, my everlasting love for you grows every single day.

Love,

Your Dearest Friend
