Work Of The Church Christ commanded the apostles to take the gospel to the world (Matthew 28:19-20). Is this command binding on us today? (prove your answer) Is the work of evangelism just a work for the preacher? (don't just answer yes or no) If doing evangelism is a command, and we do not do it, are we sinning? Is using: tracts, television, radio, or the internet to do evangelism the same as using a piano in accompaniment to singing in worship? Where are passages that say we are to be involved in benevolence? Is this work of benevolence something that individuals are to do, or can it be done by a congregation? Is it wrong to take money out of the church treasury to do benevolence? Is it scriptural to support orphans homes? What is edification, and how is it done? Is it all right to have seperate classes for our Bible classes? Is it scriptural to use Bible class material? Does the Lord expect every Christian to be involved in the work of the church?
